THE HISTORY OF AFRICAN YOUTH PROGRESSIVE FORUM
On 9th of September 2004 the idea of African youth progressive forum was conceived for the very first time in the mind of young and dynamic
Undergraduates. Not long after other young undergraduates who have stood by them till date bought this same ideology.
African youth progressive forum struck as a result of social distress among african youths substantial increases rate of crime due to joblessness found among many african youths and mortification of potentialities of an african youth by successive african leaders that that has metamorphosed into demand chance of creativity in the life of many african youths . Precisely speaking , it was on the above named societal decadence that the six undergradates pointed their curious but gentle fingers each time they met at one of the local street in enugu state , nigeria called ugbene . indeed , they spent un-quantifiable amount of time talking about the progress of an african youth.
On 20th October same year owning to the rate at which more youths seeks to identify with them , these six vibrant undergraduate (organizers) decided to go for official profession for the progress of an african youths by frist announcing its name as AFRICAN YOUTH PROGRESSIVE FORUM (A.Y.P.F) and its motto as KEEP AFRICA RIGHT . with these in mind , the forum would fight (by non-violance) for liberalizing an african youth to give channel for the science and technological development and civilization in africa continent.
MISSION
To explain our mission we focus on a set of explanatory phrases associated with each letter in the word creativity.
We cannot guarantee creativity, but we can promise to provide the chance .
Like every other non-governmental organization , african youth progressive forum came into lime light with a sole mission to dictate what the government ignores and to seek for attention what she thinks necessary . however , beyond the mission of every other non-governmental organsation is our mission to get the african youth dominate invention of science and technology equipments by the year 2030. This we intend to achieve with the aids of :

2 training
3 workshop and other vices available. VISION
Since the end is easily fourfold when every blessed thing you hold is made of silver and gold – Gilbert and Sullivan. Our vision is therefore an enviable African youth who’s offspring will be proud of , our vision is a more creative African youths and industrious continent come 2030.
MODUS OPERAND
The forum A.Y.P.F is a non-governmental, non-profitable forum set up for empowerment and liberalization of African youths by providing an atmosphere for creativity. The forum is devoid of any violence and clandestine motives meaning that it is forum meant for disciplined and good thinking youths. this is why we mark out EMPOWERMENT as our watch word

AIMS OF TE FORUM
1 Encouraging youths to be more creative.
2 Preaching against youths involvement in initiating religious crisis.
3 Enlightening youths on the dangers of racism, drug abuse, and terrorism.
4 Creating awareness on the dangers of HIV/AIDS.
5 To support the African government in repatriating the mind of African youths in Diaspora so that they can contribute their quota towards making Africa great.
